Is a full MySQL backup enough to restore a database?

I generated and downloaded my MySQL database backup in case something goes wrong. Are the database files that I downloaded enough to restore the database back to where it was if something goes wrong? What else should be done to ensure that a full database/site backup is available? Thanks.

It is just enough. Please backup the files too in case something goes wrong with script/template whatever it is.

Yeah, a backup of your home directory and database is sufficient for a full site backup/restore.

All you need is a home directory backup, and SQL backup. That's all.
