Sorry if this the wrong place to post this. I was hoping to get some input from the moderators here at DP on this subject . Do you find that being a moderator is often times a shitty thankless job with very little or no pay ? Having to deal with spambots,trolls and people to lazy to read the FAQ or just no common sense at all. Or do you find it a rewarding position being able to help people find out new information on the net ?
I have feeling our moderators do it because they enjoy it and they like being part of the community. There isn't always a reason or need to be rewarded for something.
Is that a normal thing or do you get-How dare you close my thread or one of my favorites-Why did you ban me after I posted that porn link .
