Is a Forum Helpful with Adsense on Not?

I want to know that adding a forum on a existing website (500 Visitors a day) is helpful in increasing the traffic and revenue with Adsense or not.

It increases your traffic, but the revenue in adsense that's another story.

 

Yeah, forums aren't a great way to increase earnings with adsense.

 

if ur taffic is good u can try it for one month

I want to know that by adding forum can effect site's current earning with Adsense?

is it 500 unique visitors or page impressions ?

it depends on how many new visitors you get per day and from where you get your major traffic, also depends on topic of your forums

The topics of my website and the Forum's topic are closely related.

Secondly , my major traffic source is the US visitors.

Please advise that is it good to use the forum for one month or not for testing?

Can the forum become beneficial for increasing the traffic for my website or not?

A forum can be good for adsense.

Mine is great and It generates a fair aount of income, but I would never do anything just in order to get more income from adsense.

If you think your site will benefit from a forum then install one and if you do get a little from adsense then it is a bonus.

 

My brother's earning a few dollars a day with adsense on his forum and that was with revenue sharing.

 

When my site was getting around 3,000 visitors per day, i added a forum.. After a few months, all the extra content started brining in around 10,000 visitors per day. The Adsense in the forums area did not earn much more, but overall earnings went much higher because people were visiting other areas of the site. I added Kontera to the forums, and that increased earnings even more..

 

it may be helpful because forum will bring you continues visitor

a forum is good to have on a website like that ! it will only attract more visitors which means more revenue!

I have a forum myself at www.9mb.com

It is not earning much with adsense but I also give 80% of ad time to the thread starters!

 

Good for content and traffic, but a bad earner for Adsense.

My 2 cents...

 

yes, it is not good for adsense.. but when your forum is big.. you can sell banners on top ! or other advertising !

It can sure bring in a nice monthly figure if done right!

 

forum got low CTR and need time to maintenance. but if you got time and effort for if, it can be a good way to generate the income. more meber to use your forums, more chance they will click the ads.

 

u can try with your 500 visitors and gain like 2$ to 5 $ a day
