Is a FMyLife "replica" site ideal?

I'm currently a college student who is just trying to generate some revenue to pay for gas through school. I was considering purchasing a FMyLife script clone and building a community of members to hopefully one day generating some revenue from Adsense.

How are your feelings about it? Would you or would you not suggest it? Please provide reasoning.

    Pros/cons

    Thank you in advance

There's already tons of clones out there. FML, My Life is Average, and many more. Maybe if you find a deep niche but of course the deeper you go the smaller your audience becomes.

True, I did find one niche that is as you coined it "deep." I thought it would be ideal as I could generate revenue from adsense as it would be relative for my visitors. Most of the replica sites are so general that they really dont have a niche. Hence, they aren't really able to advertise anything that might attract a vistor

Contrary, it is a "deep" niche and might not rack in many visitors/posters.

    Thats my hold hold back!

I don't think it's a good idea - there are already so many clone sites that people get bored of them very quickly. It'd have to be something very specific, remembering you don't want to limit your audience at the same time.

    Good luck :)

go for it but it's best to have a website that has some unique twist to it, so maybe withsome unique offspin
