    Not bad usually below 50% is good, however it depends on the niche of the website.

    a video site usually gets lower bounce rate for sure lol. I have mine with 12%

    Bounce rate of 43 percent is not bad at all. But you should always work towards improving your bounce rate.

    depends on whether u have a forum, blog, or website. blogs tend to have higher bounce rates and forums lower. websites have the best bounce rate as far as I know. look at DP, we all check out most of its threads, and most of the time, we spend hours and days here continuously

    Bounce rate (sometimes confused with exit rate) is a term used in web site traffic analysis.It essentially represents the percentage of initial visitors to a site who "bounce" away to a different site, rather than continue on to other pages within the same site.

    The formula used to calculate bounce rate is:
    Bounce Rate = Total Number of Visits Viewing One Page / Total Number of Visits


    Good a bounce rate under 20%, anything over 35% is cause for concern, 50% (above) is worrying.

    i have steady bounce rate of 83% for last 3 years. there were no problems so far.

    You must be having an excellent website which would be giving you lots of opportunity to monetizing it well! People always struggle to keep the bounce rate under 50 and so your efforts are truly exceptional!
    I have always considered anything under 60% to be good and so OP is managing fairly well... as well! :)
