20 letters in domain name is possible but not advised as :: Its hard to remember/type, TDick will sue you
20 Letters in domain is a bad idea in my opinion for 2 Reasons - 1. Visitors cannot easily remember. 2.Visitors don't like to type such a big domain name. But if the domain you are purchasing is the exact match of Keywords your users going to search in Google & if your intention is to just get in the google search without much efforts then go ahead.
In my opinion domain name should not be too long. 20 characters are considered too long. You want people to remember your domain easily
Depends on what your website will be about! If you are just creating a website with your name in it, it not what people will be looking for on the major search engines. If you are having a long tail keyword as your domain name, that is what people will be looking for on google or msn and you will get higher ranking.
It is long if itis new, once it becomes a brand than it is easier to remember and seems short. But the best practice while selecting the domain is to select the most suitable and relevant domain. But, it also doesn't matter. You can choose any that make sense. That's it.
depending on how popular it will be, it all depends on many points, but as for me, you need to make the domain shorter and more memorable
If your niche doesn't necessarily require a domain that long, I'd opt against it. The best domain/headline should be short, concise and memorable.
I do not think it is too long. if your domain has its meaning, and the meaning is very important, the domain is ok! I sold a domain name in 2008, 25 letters, the price is USD3000!
It's ok. But you will have to maintain short urls on posts/pages and keep keywords at first 2-3 words for SEO purposes.
