Is a 0.2% CTR good?

    Hi guys,

Just a quick question: is a 0.2% CTR any good? That seems to what I'm averaging.

Today, for example, I've had nearly 5,000 impressions and 10 clicks for £2.17. Here's my site.

What do you think? Can this CTR be improved on? Thanks in advance for your help!

In my view, CTR with 0.2% is low as average is about 1-2%.

Concentrate on your ad placements and ad units which drives lot of clicks.

ts should be between 1% and 4%.
its totaly because your ads placement......look no one will help you on this.....its your site you have to start change the place of eash ad every 2 days tell u can find the right place.

but as an idea always put an ad 336*280 between the article and the title or put to from same size.
plz if this worked just tell me and it will be nice to help u more.
is this wordpress or blogger?...even it seems the second one.

My CTR is similar but I sacrifice a little to make my site look good and tidy, in my opinion that's more important. The placement on saldriass's sites looks nasty and I would bounce of that blog immediately. Aggressive placements like that are the reason Ad Blockers were invented.

Keep your ad's where they are and just work on building more traffic instead.

I'd say make your ads stand out a bit either adding bold around the frame or something. I visited your site and your advertisements didn't instantly pop out at me. That means I don't instantly see them which decreases my chance of clicking them.

Keep it up, make small changes every couple days as agressive ads are a turn off to your following

If you got it to be 1% it would mean 5 times your income :) . I looked at the site and right now it looks alright. You should be doing a lot better than 0.2 . So the answer is, yes is low.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Hmm, maybe I should try and make some subtle changes but not "in your face" ones.

What about text links in the middle of posts?
