Is 72 DPI still ok OR

    Is 72 DPI still ok or should we be designing web sites at a higher resolution... thanks in advance...

    DPI only matters when you're printing . The actual resolution (2000 x 3000) will dictate how many pixels your image displays on a screen .

    The way i know it is 72 for web , 300 for print . So yes it should be OK .

    Absolutely correct. Creating pictures in higher resolutions for web will just make your images heavier without any positive effects.
