500UV's is kinda low for MFA type arbitrage sites. You need to get a helluva lot mre people to get there and click your adsense.
Just as a general question. How much do you spend on having a site get tens of thousands of visitors? I'm talking from a development to marketing monthly budget.
Completely depends on the website you want to deliver the traffic too, different markets, different websites require different marketing stratergies. Where I work we have clients with marketing budgets from £1k per month too £100,000 per month.
i would love five hundred a day to my site, but to be honest i dont know how to find out how many i have been getting, is there a tool for this.my site is linkprank
It depends on the site and how long it has been up. For a site that is only a couple months old yes that is good. If your site is over a year old and still getting that amount.......somethings wrong.
I consider that traffic as great because I am getting less than that for my one year old site. Hope it improves further
500 is a very good start, i have read a few post and some-one was talking about google well google have been around for ages plus with the money that google have they can do all kinds of marketing tricks not to say that they need to do any now.... just keep work at your site and the numbers will go up. every big site had to start some where like myspace google youtube. I have a few sites and i do the same marketing for them all but they all see different numbers in traffic, i think about 10k+ a day is high. but like others have said depends on what your site is about
500 uniques a day is very good. I received 200+ unique visitors from my new blog. Hope it reach 300 unique visitors after reaching 1 month of operation
It it were for Loans or Mortgage refinance, it is awesome. It it were for jokes or funny pictures, than it is sad.
it is not high at all. But it has also something to do with your target keyword. If your website is on lets say A word, and that A word is searched in google per day only 500 times, and you get 500 unique visitors through that keyword, that's i say High. But we are living in a world with 7 billion, think about it I've never reach to 500 unique visitors per day for an English website.. But I've reached more than 1 million unique visitor per month in another language with hard work. So i say, high is very relative issue
Its depend on your keyword competition. If your keywords competition is high then its good result of your site. Bcs in high competition, It is difficult to get 500 unique visitor per day. but if your keyword competition is low then it easy to get 500 unique visitor per day.
who revived this thread? but it's a good number of daily visitors imho. 500 x 365 = 182,500 x 0.01 CPM x $2 = $3,650 annual revenue ofcourse if your CPM is $4 or up, you can earn even more!
If you have a million unique hits every day, even then your site might not be considered a High traffic site. But if you have 500 highly targetted unique view, and you are getting maximum Return of Investment, then it might be high traffic site. Quantity doesn't matters, quality matters.
