As mentioned - Alexa is simply an indicator. There are many other gauges out there to determine how well your site is doing based on organic traffic. You have to remember that the whole world doesn't use Alexa - just a small few. I would bias the list as well in saying that the majority of Alexa users are most likely more technical people. To see how you're site is really doing, check your traffic logs on your server and analyze your lead conversion.
Nice rank, but as alexisthemovie said, subdomains dont get separate alexa ranks, that is the ranking of frihost.com
So lucky! I am stuck at 120,000 for such a long time. My traffic is increasing but alexa still stays at the same...
the magazine blog should have a Google Pagerank of 4-5, a Technorati rank of less than 20000 and an Alexa rank with in 100000. It comes to around 32000 Rupees! I'll be very happy to earn that much from a part time job and LOL
My website http://www.freevintagegames.com/ as of today (13th June 2011) has a worldwide alexa rank of 660,450. However despite a decent ranking we receive a small number of visitors. On average we receive 50 unique visitors a day which generates on average 300 unique page views per day.
if your rank is below 50,000 then it would be considered as good rank. I think due to your sites popularity it will be recognized in short period
for such a rank, you need to have , i don't know, maybe at least 20.000 unic visitors per day. Or even more...
Neither of these 2 fantasy-pc.com fantasypc.frih.net sites have the so called ranking mentioned by the OP. Not sure if they used to or not I am not going to go through the trouble of researching it but what I see right now is both of them are really high numbers to be good ranking and no where close to what was said to be and all those links wasted
Nope..not necessary...It is quite easy to manipulate Alexa rankings and I can prove that a website that has not more than 8000 visitors per month can gain alexa ranking #45000 within 1.5 months.
Any rank under 100K is great, but keeping track of your Alexa rank is something you need to do. Your site is ranked under 100,000 so Alexa do provide graphical tracking statistics, but for those who dont have such a good rank they dont. There is however a tool you can use yo track any domain's Alexa rank. Its called TrackAlexa. Search google for "Track Alexa" and they are in the top three. It is well worth a look.
