Is 301 redirection of a domain to a URL safe?

Hello members!

I am wondering if its ok to do a 301 redirect of a domain to a URL of a website. example, 301 redirect of www.mysite.com to www.yoursite.com/abc.htm.

I know 301 redirects is the best seo option but if I redirect a domain to a inside page of my website, is that safe? is that domain masking?

no its not good redirect to your main domain to inner pages..its give bad impression on your site..

 

Yes, you are right. 301 redirects is the best SEO option for redirecting a domain to other or any internal page to other.
I think it does not matters what you are redirecting from one domain to another internal page. It will behave as a simple redirect what it is..

301 redirect of an entire domain to an internal page of a new domain shouldn't be done and it's one way of cloaking method (black hat technique). 301 redirect should be done page-to-page i.e. www.mysite.com/abc.htm to www.yoursite.com/abc.htm etc.

 

You definitely wanna get that fixed ASAP
