Hmm, that is not a business you are starting, but some hobbie stuff... a business needs some professional approach, and $25 is very not professional. sorry to disappoint...

It completely depends on what you had in minda. That is enough to cover the cost of a domain and hosting for a month or so.

Tip: Pick a niche you are passionate about.

    Checklist
    1. Do keyword research (if you dont know what that is, research it)
    2. Buy a domain base on your keyword research from namecheap
    3. Buy hosting at hostgator
    4. Work hard and work smart

    My beginning story
I started my online business with $0. Right now my business is making $xxx/month and soon to be $x,xxx within 2 months time. $xx,xxx by the end of the year. (If I don't slack off) At the moment my network is worth $xx,xxx so it goes to show that you can do whatever you want as long as you put your mind to it and work hard.

P.S. Don't listen to those people that posted you need a lot of money to start a business. They just can't picture themselves doing it because they started theirs with a lot of money. Having money does make things easier but coming up from nothing you learn tricks and gain resources they will never know unless we tell them. lol

Cheers to everybody success and if any of you going after my keywords. Good Luck! You going to need it. lol

I've done it both ways, and tell people from experience. I do not give them pipe dreams.

To recap reality, sure, if the moon and stars align and you put in 18 hours a day consistently 7 days a week for months or years on end you may be able to make a few hundred bucks a month with zero investment. I thought you were actually looking to make enough money to do online as a full time job? Sorry about that.

Lastly, look at those telling you it can be done and research what they do now. Are they working online full time? Do they post their stats or sites telling or showing you how and what they did that can make you money??

    The answer is, 'No'.

It is wonderful to tell strangers on a message board that good money is at their finger tips and all their Disney dreams can come true when you provide NO back up of your claims. If only it worked like that in the real world.....

It seems, some here have internet connection for free? It's pity that I must pay about $20/mo just for the connection, and a couple of cents for electricity too...
I think starting a "business" with $25 is possible, but the question is what a business it will be and how profitable it will be and when and how much effort you will have to put to make it running. But anyhow, with $25 you definitely can give it a try.

$25 shows you arn't very motivated, but then again its easy to waste $1000 and get nothing so hopfully you take your $25 and use it well.

My first site was an investment of $45 and about 150 hours of work. I did make about $4000 from it for three years of owning it and sold it for $3,000 in the end so its possible.

lol, you make me laugh. I have no problem giving tips here and there. However, I will not give anyone the break down of my business. I could easily backup my "claims" with a simple link to my personal/business blog. However, its in my damn sig.

By the way, who in their right mind would post how and what they do on a forum? Seriously, that would be the quickest way to go from making money to making $0. Some resources are best kept secret!

Nice try though, you just might get someone else secret resources and breakdown of their business for you to copy. Im sure there's someone dumb enough to give you all the details.

I don't quite think you'll get away with just a $25 investment for a serious online business with a solid return unless you're a web developer yourself.

Buy domain and hosting, then start online business as publisher or reseller/affiliate program
