Is 11 a special number?

Just wondering if there's something special about the number 11 for Google. New sites of mine that Google has crawled seem to only get 11 pages indexed at first, and stay at that number no matter how many times gbot has crawled all the other pages.

Has anyone else seen this before?

These coincidences are getting a little freaky. It's like an episode of Lost.

11 also happens to be the smallest number that can be made by repeating a digit (00 not counting)

    wow!

    11 binary = 3 decimal

Isn't that one of the magic numbers?

    It's also symmetrical.

On the downside, I heard a rumor that it's Presbyterian

11 is the 5th prime and 5 is the 3rd prime and 3 is the second prime.

so your 11 index pages will get you quite good rankings, on rainy days..

seriously: google starts with 1 index page: your homepage. so, maybe you have 10 links (or 10 double links and X single links) to sub-pages. I have sites in google that ran from 1 to 1 million pages, back to 30K, up to 800K, down to 50K etc... it looks kinda random to me, but I'm sure it isn't.

11 x 11 = 121 which if you remove the middle number leaves you with 11.
