Is 100 unique daily visitors worth $?

Just curious if I'm on the right path...

I'm getting 100 unique visitors every day on my blog. I'm averaging about $0.25/day from adsense (approx 1 click daily).

Should 100 visitors be worth more than quarter? I'm thinking about experimenting with overture or affiliation.

That's about right, as far as conversion goes. I reach nearly xx,xxx people per day and barely peak at what I want it to. just start building up link exchanges to get some more traffic. write unique content and if you're looking higher contextually paid ads, write different kinds of content. ad placement is key as well. you may consider placing your ads in a different part of your site in order to gain better contextualization for the ads.

100 unique a day should worth more than that. But it all depends on your industry. I had several website that has 100 unique a day that earn around $4each.

Interesting. Are there any search engines/site to lookup keyword value?

For AdSense/AdWords, not really. There are 'high paying keywords' lists out there and there is an Overture tool which you could use for pricing, but the Overture tool is only for Yahoo! and not for Google. Some commonly known high paying keywords are 'law', 'loans', 'money', 'travel', and things of that nature.

try to increase your ctr. 1 click from 100 visitors seems a bit low, although this depends on your industry and target audience as well. check out the adsense heatmap to optimize adsense placement.

Depends also on what topic your site is, how the clicks pay.
I used to make $1 a click on one of my sites for a while, that was awesome, now its dropped to $0.08.

I am still baffled as to how this could happen, but hey, c'est la vie

    Yes!

You need to work your way through a lot of change. Some technical and some content wise.

In the end you will probably be able to reach anywhere from a quarter to $10 per day.

There is absolutely room for improvement. Post the URL and add a question or two about how to improve. Or just read a few of the many similar threads around here.

Also be nice and report back when you've experienced success as a way to say thank you for advice to others and - more importantly - as a way to help others as you were helped (hopefully).

This really all depends on the topic of your website. Some Adsense clicks are worth a heck of a lot more than others. For example, I have a new website I don't spend any time on, that only averages about 45 visitors per day, get only roughly 10 Adsense clicks/day, yet makes $5.00/day.

So, it depends entirely on what types of adsense ads are being displayed on your site.

    ho ho ho ...
45 visitors a day with an earning of $5 must be something related to investment or pharmacy. That's great! I never earn $5 with that number of visitors.

1 click per 100 visitors is about right. Blogs tend to be rather difficult to make money from, unless you have a very popular blog. Your main concern should be on trying to get more traffic to your site. More traffic = more clicks = more money.

Getting traffic is the hardest part though. Good luck!

I think it all depends on the topic of your blog. If it's a personal blog, and the topic is different from post to post, you're doing ok. If it's a niche blog, where the subject matter is all relative, then there might be room for improvement.

Think about the two magic factors:

    1) How many visitors you have to your site.
    2) How many sites you have.

Almost anyone can put togheter a site that gets 50 uniques / day. Everyone can register 100 domains. Thus, it's very doable to make a sensible income from for instance adsense. You just need to find 100 interests.

It all depends on the template, niche and whether your ads are on topic.

But 1 click out of 100 is waay too low.Place your adsense wisely and match their color with the colors of your theme, place small link units in the menu, install the adsense-delux plugin and place ads in your posts, if using wordpress of course.Having high CTR on a blog isn't that hard, I had a blog with more than 50% CTR.It depends almost 80% on the template.

Hope it helps, but you have a lot of room for improvement.
