A site I visit frequently is offering front page text links for only $10. Though the site is new and is only PR1, it has an Alexa rank of 35,000. I feel users of this site will like my site. Is $10 a good price for the link?
Then it's obviously a steal. $10 is nothing. Even if it was PR0 and got 10 visitors a month it could be worth it.
I feel that paying $10 is worth for the links. But I am also curious to know the source of your traffic.
I would also recommend buying that link. $10 for a permanent link is a bargain. Especially if you believe your site will be of interest to the visitors of that site
$10 isn't expensive as you'll sell it for lifetime..In fact,when i buy links,I don't care about the traffic,only PR affects me
You should consider about the traffic you'll get from it too though... For example if you get 100 visitors a day from a link, that increases the chance of one of the visitors linking to your site via a blog post, or the chance of them digging your site etc... Plus as people always say: PR != Traffic
>>Though the site is new and is only PR1, it has an Alexa rank of 35,000. This low PR with this high Alexa is a strange combination. The site must have at least 10.000 unique users a day to achive this ranking if it's not faked. I'd be really interested to see this site. If you don't mind p.m the url.
I have a site with 30k alexa rating that gets under 200 unique visitors a day. Also its webmaster related. In conclusion you cant base unique vistors in anyway from Alexa.
I'll sell you a link on the home page of an alexa ranking of 107, directory for $10 when i build the directory tomorrow
