You are not rich with 1 million nowadays. It doesn't even get you a nice house in Sydney.

No. Could a very cheap, low maintenance person survive off it? Maybe. But there's no such thing as 'enough' for me :D

    Good question...

Honestly I could spend $100 million bucks pretty easy (Land, Gold, Resources, Farms, Businesses)
So 1 million would go quick for me.. but it would be enough to setup killer business(s)

which is what Im trying to do online with basically no money

I don't care how much money I have, I just want to be able to take whatever I want whenever I want and not worry about the money.

Add three more zeros to your choice and it's still not enough. If you buy a nice house and nice things, they cost a lot to maintain so that much money isn't a lot when your not living off Ramen.

I think no matter how large nominal, if we continue to think and to feel less, sure that there is no shortage continues. so, whatever we have to acknowledge it and use the best

I would need 2mil (usd/aud) to live like a commoner without working; worked that out ages ago. 500k for my parents, 500k for my family (includes house and expenses), 200k for my yacht to sail around the world and the rest will generate more income for me.

No that's not enough in UK, a large house here is about $2,000,000 then you'd want a nice car $200,000. Financial stability so you could retire $1,000,000. Money for expensive liftstyle, yachts, holidays, recreational $10,000,000. A house in Monte Carlo $20,000,000.

    $35m would be okay!

    2000 post :D
