Do you believe the IRS explanation? Or are they hiding parts of the truth?

I have doubts about the explanation.

Besides “Tea Party” and “patriots” - any group that has "freedom" or "constitution" in the name, are not likely to be Obama fans. They're probably next. :)

The IRS admitted and apologized for targeting political groups on the right. They chose "tea party" and "patriot" because those are common terms for conservatives. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that a liberal administration would want to give conservative groups a hard time.

It's amazing that Media Matters is not under review by the IRS. They are a non-profit that essentially does nothing but attack conservatives and Fox News. Their entire goal is to crush any opposing viewpoints, and they are not shy about what their goals are. But groups on the left are shielded because their views align with the current administration.
