the directory is http://www.digitalseo.info/dir In the main home page G delivers Weight loss ads. but in other pages its quite good!
Could be there are no revelant ads for your keywords etc, and your domain name it's self is close or similar to dieting....... ie; 'digitalseo' could bring back hits upon 'digital scales' etc or other diet products. I know it sounds nuts, but I ve seen where any wording makes a big difference in the ads shown.
Maby has something todo with the latest links at the bottom of the homepage. Because there is no other content on that page Google is searching for content and found it in your latest links. Probably something a site you approved with a medical topic. Tip, add some content about your directory at the homepage.
The ads may not be relevant to you but it is relevant to a spider. It does not know that you have a directory. It only reads from your wordings and links. Humans can see that it is a directory but robots can't see that. So IMHO, these ads are very relevant
I have an Idea ... always the main page sucks which is the admin ... redirect the user to the same page with different string like index.php?anyfakething=fake
It is interesting to see how much the name of a file can impact a page... I had pages chocked full of game information, yet the particular php file calling it was vbi.php. All my ads were for visual basic, without fail... Changed the name of the file to something closer to my subject matter and I got appropriate ads. Personally I think adsense puts WAY too much weight in the url and the pathnames. They at least need to have a way to filter stuff out or have default filters for various setups.
hey wissam, this is a very good idea. it works for me. i added a timestamp parameter to the end of the link so it will be unique whenever users visit my site index.php?anyfakething=fake1186451644 i tried index.php?anyfakething=fake and it did show relevant ads but it lasts for 10 mins. Then the ads will become irrelevant.
