The US, other foreign state departments, engineers and other people working to rebuild Iraq use Blackwater as security, So I highly doubt they'll get kicked out because they play a very important role.

Also this sounds a little stupid, it says " eight Iraqi civilians were shot following a car bomb attack against a State Department convoy." The security officers may have been a little trigger happy but I'd be a little trigger crazy too, if i felt my life was at risk. Also it says the citizens are angered by the security companies aggresive driving, no shit they are going to be driving aggresively, each second they are on the road leaves them vulnerable to something like a car bomb or other IED.

So unti the Iraqi government is able to provide protection for the State department and foreign diplomats, they have no right to risk the diplomats lives by taking away their security.

A little trigger crazy is no excuse. They are paid and trained to be anything BUT trigger happy. That is why you choose a good security firm that has people trained how to handle dangerous situations while minimizing civilian casualties - eight people is too many. One person is too many. I could see a crossfire situation - but if it was mistaken ident. then it is no excuse - it's just as bad as friendly fire and someone needs to be castrated for it.

But were these some of those innocent bystanders that were holding guns when they were shot, but the guns somehow get removed? Something that seems to take place at times....

First off almost all of blackwater are ex-military meaning they are trained to fight, Im not justifying their actions or even admitting that they needed to be justified because I wasnt there. However I can tell you no matter how well you are trained to only shoot "bad" guys, when the car bomb goes off and things start happening it is really hard to tell the difference, especially when all the "bad" guys are wearing civilian cothes.

The reason Blackwater is popular in Iraq in terms of security is because the training and the number of helicopters coveys they're able to provide to diplomats in Iraq.

Blackwater is such a horrible name... it makes me think of stomach poisoning. They should have gone with... Stealthwater or Bloodwater... but Blackwater? Hello Mexican municipal water service and results! Even Deathwater would have been better - but not DethWater, as that would be stealing from Dethklok.
