You don't have to bring the oil to your country to make money off of it.

When the petroleum laws in Iraq are finalized, the US and British companies (Exxon-Mobile, Chevron,BP Amoco and Shell) will be the big winners.

And I will bet $20 on that!

 

Who should benefit more? Countries that gave blood to free the country or those that sat on the sidelines and benefitted from Saddam's reign?

So you actually deny that countries such as France sat on the sidelines because they were getting kickbacks from the oil for food program? And that they had contracts in place under Saddam, which our invasion effectively wiped away. You think their motives were purely altruistic? You are more naive than I thought.

There are still people out there that think Hitler was a nice guy. Hell, some people might even say Germany was a "soverign nation".
