It's amazing how hypoctical these people sound. Worse they are so narrow minded, they can't see why.

Thanks for taking the bait. It's obvious we live in a do as I say, not as I do society in your mind. You are setting standards your own goverment is already using against us to divide the classes and the people in general from politicians.

The America I grew up in was about equality. Too bad that is long gone now.

If you join the military you have to expect to go to war. If you're not okay with the fact that you might die then you have to stay away from the military. What I think is funny is the only people who bitch about stuff like this would never serve one day in the military, but the people who are actually over there fighting and dying don't say a word. You know why? Military personal love their country and they are willing to die for it. This is coming from a guy who served in the military, and you don't know how bad I wish I could be over there fighting for my country.

Really? You may want to do some research on that.

    Also, dead people can't talk...just FYI. ;)

Very few people say anything and the ones that do only joined the military for the college money, or they were talked into by recruiters. If you haven't been in the military you won't know what I'm talking about.

+ Most military personal would love to die for their country. I bet if you asked 10 people 9 of them would say ooh rah, the 1 guy being the guy that just wants the college money.

Bullshit. Not all service people feel the same way. I served my country. I deplore the wanton loss of service and other lives over this debacle. This President has not spilled one ounce of his blood, and I don't believe he ever would. I respect and love the men and women in uniform and am enraged their lives were used up like so much chattel. To say you served means you know what it means to lose one - one - of these precious lives. And each should be counted.

We are in a morass, and there is no easy way out. But don't for one minute say that the only folks who disagree with the current course have never served. Many have, and are all the more pitched in their anger because of it.

More BS. Did you read this somewhere?

Let me give you something else to read:

Among the rest, this quote - by General Douglas Macarthur - rings truest. Only an animal dreams for the wanton destruction of life, and only a wastrel seeks his own destruction.

Okay 1 guy, giving he is a General I guess it's a big deal. It's still only 1 guy though. I didn't read the article because I'm too lazy ;).

You can't explain it it's something no one really gets. I would take jump in front of a bullet to save the president no matter if I like him or not. I wont let a flag touch the ground. I will fly old glory outside my house everyday untill I die. I stand at attention when ever the national anthem is played no matter what I'm doing. I would die for my country.

Like I said it's hard to explain.

I guess you were in a different military then I was. The military I was in we thrived on protecting our homeland. Anyone of the people in my platoon would have died for this country with a smile on their face.

Then to spare yourself some embarrassment, read the article or don't comment on it.

Go ahead and try. Take your time too.

Well, my platoon was Macarthur's. And Gtech's, and every other vet I have ever known. I honor them all. I honor you, as well, for your service - and consider your life, that of all vets, something to be cared for.

Ohh don't get me wrong I would do anything for a vet or anyone in the military. I have so much respect for military people. I just hate when non military people talk about the military like they know what's in our heads. A select few militants want the war to be over and those are the ones that will speak out, meanwhile the majority of them want to be over there killing.

There would be no point. You're anti US and I'm pro US. I don't really like to debate just post my views and watch you guys jump all over them.
