Whats the big deal about it???? Its a law of country and everyone follows it or you get punished its same like some regular law here in US. I dont understand why do you guys have problem with this when the people over there dont have any problem. Its 1 in thousand cases that a woman there dont like it and rebel otherwise its just a regular law of the country. I dont understand whats so big about it ?

    PS: I am not Iranian

Do you really need to know why?

Here is just one little example of this type of thinking going to far.

Well that is wrong and i bet that it was taken notice of by saudi govt however the thing is its just how someone thinks i mean even in that news article a police man(Officer) was against while firefighter wanted to save the girls and things like that happen everywhere i mean you cannot blame the whole country for the mistake of one guy.

I don't think any government has the right to tell its citizens what to wear. Period.

Why? who are we to judge thier culture and or ways?

Sometimes we as americans think we can just go in like cowboys and play world police... and we are not
look at how many are already dead in the iraqi war and how many more kids we will be buring tomarrow due
to a hee haw attitude and oil thursty dictator thats hell bent on power and trying to play hero to a culture
that doesnt approve of our ways and never asked to be liberated in the first place...

And even worse yet....im paying $3.30 for 1 gallon of gas now... Nice fukin job mr president

just my 2 cents and nothing more...

I am not judging anyone or their culture. Anyone can wear what they want. I do not think any government has the right to tell its people what to wear. Pretty simple, and has nothing to do with Bush or Iraq (some people seem to mix that into every issues).

    No browntown....

Im just using that for refrence is all and was just me voicing my vision of it...
Not attacking you friend, just trying to get you to see the other side of the coin.

we take much for granted... freedom and try and push it on others that dont want it
or understand it and those that DO should fight for it.... but not us everytime

    thx

I agree with jaree. People over there enjoy that. They live like that on a daily basis. They may think the same thing with US people. They could see american people gong on cruise or buying Cadillacs freely and thought how desesperate are the people in USA.
It's just a different way of life and we should let them live the life they choose. Let leave them alone where they are.
For them, America is evil. So, also, to make sure they are not going to suffer, if one of them come to the US, let put him(her) in the next plane back to his(her) country. We don't want pain to anyone...
I personally believe that, let's say, Iran is not safe for me, for any reason, if I land in Tehran by accident, I'll thank the Iranian authorities to send me back where I'm coming from...

I wouldnt wish death upon anyone as thats not the proper way of handling things.

    True story...

I was once walking with friends in argentina (i was 16 years old then) and we were pulled over and asked for ID and were patted down... the police found a bag of refer in my pocket upon that search and all surronded me and asked me Whats this? whats this? Meanwhile my friends were hudled together and counting $$ to offer the cops so we could be on our way.... to make a long story short... total cost $20 american dollars... end of story... and they handed back the weed

Now what would have happened here in US?

Well chances are i would have been arrested, fines worth over $2,000 attorneys fees $ 2500- $5000 "Time in jail" "Bond money" and lord knows what else.... over a small bag of buds............ the american justice system at work

what im trying to say is what the police in argentina did was wrong! BUT
in the end was satisfactory and justice wasnt needed but the crime wasnt that big of a deal...

if i were in another country the penalty could have been very well Death
by firing squad or lord knows...

the point is evryone and every counrty has their ways and we should not judge anyone or anything but let them handle thier issues as needed..

again just me speakin my mind is all and my beliefs wether they are right or wrong is for god to judge when im dead and not another mortal.

    thx
