Do they really believe they can accomplish this? In all fairness, they are doing one hell of a job at the moment because of liberals and political correctness. But when the tolerance starts to fade, and people start to actually get pissed off, what exactly to these idiots think is going to happen?

Yea I agree. But still, what's it matter who they get it from? Plus, I'm sure the U.S. has plenty of secret weapons on the back burner. I doubt they're selling top of the line stuff ya know.
Yea he is believe it or not lol. It matters a whole heap where they get it from. If our soldiers die at the hands of weapons sold to them , then i would say yes, the families of these soldiers and most americans will be very ticked off
If we sell them the weapons, we know what we're up against. We know how to defend ourselves against our own weapons. We don't know how to defend ourselves against foreign contraptions. By buying weapons from us we also get a large chunk of change to develop better weapons. Is it messed up a bit? Possibly. But, I think it's better than the alternative of letting them get their weapons from another country.
They wouldn't be buying from us if we were just giving them junk. If we're saying that they could buy from a variety of different countries, but they're choosing us, then there has to be a reason for it. Either we've got the best goods, or we're giving them better prices on weapons similar to what other countries are offering. I really don't like the idea of selling Iran weapons so we can know what they've got. That hasn't worked so well in the past. In the movies, all the weapons we sell them would have a secret shut-off switch that we could activate, but that just wouldn't work in real life. I also don't think we need funds from Iran to help us develop better weapons. The only reason we would need funds from a source like Iran is if the military needed to use those funds for unapproved operations, like with the Iran-Contra situation.
