And insulting Jesus or Mohammed or anybody else is not freedom of speech. There is no freedom for insulting people. You can tolerate being insulted as freedom but some people do not. And you should respect what others value. That sample you gave has nothing to do with that charicature, go search how it was made and then develop a twisted opinion about it, it's not at all an artistic work, it was a direct insult. There's no freedom in a duty to not insult others, it's just.. not nice.. but being nice and being free is two different things, in freedom, people can chose between being nice or being whatever they want to be.

So freedom of speech means that you are free to express whatever you want.

And yes, I agree that even Holocaust denying should be legal. Just the laws against it make it looks to some people that there's really is something dead wrong about the official holocaust history.

 

Man we really have different perspectives about freedom of speech.

You can't go tell people how holy it is to kill people who don't believe in god. Freedom of speech does not mean you have the right to violate laws or trigger crimes. Human rights are under protection of common laws and you can't insult people with the freedom undercover. You can't talk about porn to a little kid covering your wicked behaviours with freedom. There is no such freedom which lets you violate laws.

 

You don't have the human right to control the thoughts and words of other people.

You need to learn the limits where your rights stop and my rights begin.

Well, for one, I find it very different to insult a person as opposed to insulting God...i.e. muhammediwanttobloweveryoneup is just a human, while Jesus is one of the three "persons" (and by person i don't mean human) of God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit....if you want to insult God, go ahead....its not me you are offending.

That's how you believe, you can say Jesus is God and i can say he's not. We dont discuss religions here.
