There is no such thing as a "fundamentalist christian law". Things don't work that way in Christianity. We don't let our religous beliefs interfere with our sense of reality, duty or country.
Let me rephrase that for a little bit of clarity "I am not worried about women being brutally murdered for choosing to have sex or women being murdered for the crime of being raped. I'm worried about not being able to buy Mad Dog 20/20 on Sunday." Do you see how your concerns might be a little bit upside down? They might even look a little bit shallow or even self-centered. Myopic might be another appropriate description.
