Stupidity par exellence is totake time to debunk article from The Onion. The fact is that Israel didn't managed to acomplish their goals against Hezbollah in last Lebanon war. That's a fact and fact is something that you can't accept isf it isn't coming from IDF.
Lets continue with your interesting "wisdom". I will illustrate my point again - I know that the point is extremely sophisticated and hard to grasp for scholarly educated people like yourself... The 'stated goal' was to bring the kidnapped soldiers back, not to liquidate Hezbollah off the face of the earth. right? Assume, for the sake of discussion, that Israel managed to kill each and every Hezbollah fighter, including Hezbollah's leader. I guess that also in this case you would have to conclude that Israel's campaign in Lebanon was "not-succesful"? Read the list of 8 achievements I named. Can you provide a matching list of Hezbollah achievements? The only question I can't actually answer, is why am I wasting my time with you. What you are in urgent need of is education, not a debate.
Actually you need education. You think if you amanaged to finish IDF propaganda school that you are ready to paticipate in any kind of disscusions. get back to real school. The fact remains: when Israel started the war they said why they started and what are their goals and they failed to archive them. Thats a failure and you can twist that fact as long as you like but it would be still what it is: a failure. Again, mr "educated" one, how would you call when someone fail to archive stated goals? I doubt you are able to answer that simple question.
I'd have to say I get disappointed time and time again from the shit that went in Lebanon, and later in Gaza. The only failure I see is that they never finish the job. Pressure from outside takes in, Israeli politicians cave in... And Israel ends up not finishing the job it started.
You are not neutral observer I'm a fraid. The same IDF took out several armies in 6 days war and now failed to deal with a terrorist organisation in a month or so. Something doesn't adds up here.
