    Well, US didn't allow India to have nukes happily. India too faced problems in start when they declared themselves as Nuclear Power.

    The thing is, US will not allow any new country to have nukes for any reason. I have tried to present the reason in above post.

    I asked you Why India in particular? If NPT is in question then Israel and Pakistan both didnt accept the CTBT/NPT, So can you explain why India in Particular?

    Come on. Has had to use one country's name and by chance he used India .. (even though Pakistan could be better to compare, being another Muslim country) may be because he visited India some day. If he said Pakistan or Israel, someone else from those countries would ask him same questions that why his country in particular.

    I guess he wanted to ask that Why country 'A' can have nukes but not country 'B' ..

    Iran is not the only one in not-allowed list but North Korea as well.

    Guys, there is not particular reason or reasons on which world decided who can have nuke and who cannot, world simply don't want any new Nuclear Power .. no matter if its Iran, North Korea or XYZ.

    Just like, one goon tries his level best to suppress another rising goon in his area, before he become too strong to challenge him. Plain and Simple.

    India is a democracy whereas Iran is a theocracy and autocracy.
    Besides, in India's 5000 years of history, they never attacked any other country.

    and I'd not like to debate with someone who either don't have much knowledge of history of his country or simply don't want to admit that.

    ps. And by the way, Even if a country (not India) have clean history about wars, it didn't entitle it for having nukes. US itself have fought 150+ wars (all type), and most of the time they attacked others. Why the hell they have nukes then? So, your reason is first of all false. Even if its true, its an invalid justification to the nukes.

    I'm an amateur military historian and I was wondering where you got the figure of 150 from? I've been wracking my brains and I can only come up with about 20 - and that includes the 1859 San Juan Boundary dispute between Britain and America (aka 'The Pig War')

    Edit - Unless you're including the colonial era wars? I was only counting from 1775.
