I was reading some wire news and saw this: Tehran, 4 October: The Voice and Vision's deputy head for external services has announced that an English news channel is to be launched in the coming months. The Voice and Vision's deputy head for external services said that "a different perspective on the region's issues" was among the aims behind the establishment of the news channel. Source: ISNA website, Tehran, in Persian 0820 gmt 4 Oct 06 -------- Kind of interesting. My initial thought was they are hoping to get English speakers watching news about Iran that's potentially skewed with propagandist views.
It must be in response to www.memri.org. Instead of translating President Tom's speeches for what he's saying, the Iranian station will translate them as "we love puppies and we love America. mostly we love american puppies"
What does "elsewhere" have to do with this particular new station opening up in Iran? I was just stating a possible purpose.
They've allready got a big help from the 9/11 truthmovement. Now, if Iran launch an attack against Israel etc. Many people will directly think that it was a work by NWO/Bush/Zionists/US in order to launch a war against Iran. This channel could further encourage this idea.
