Not a shock to me. They said a few weeks ago that they would do this to UK/US soldiers and they did. But if they think they are going to trade the UK soldiers for the captured Iranian Members...:x

I know some Iranians. IMO they are somewhat "hard headed". I think:
    - They’ll try to get something in return for the soldiers.
    - They will continue with the enrichment of uranium.
    - They are preparing for confrontation with US and Israel.

This was just to show that they will fight.

This is probably there whole plan. To trade but what they don't realize is people don't take kindly when you take some of the World's Power's people and try to bargen with us from a 3rd-World Country.. I think a lot of country's out there needs to pick up there skirts..and stomp this growing middle eastern problem.

US/Britain will probably use this as a lame excuse to attack Iran just like Israel did with Lebanon.

I don't even know what to say except that Hezbollah attacked, killed and captured Israeli soldiers inside Israel whereas Iran captured UK soldiers in Iraq.

Excluding the fact it couldn't happen, if Iran did this in UK waters and attacked the soldiers, you better believe there would be a war started.

is it an "excuse", since Iran's action would have provoked it?

Kidnapping soldiers is an act of war, so how can it be an excuse to invade, Irans own actions will determine what happens next;)

    To the above three posts?

Were they captured in Iraq? They were probably in Iranian territory. It may well be a reason to start a war by the US. By sending the 15 soldiers as bait.

Don't let your hatred for the USA cloud your judgement.

These was British soldiers that the USA cannot send anywhere as bait.

But where was the mothership? I still don't get that. Where there no warnings to the soldiers in the boat when the iranians approached?

I do believe that this was an iranian setup, but still some other question arise to be answered.
