So I just got an ipod touch...awesome apps/and everything.
but problem is I don't get a working connection at home.
i've searched, searched, and searched the web for a solution...and none seem to work.
(oh and I have router.... and have labtops that are wireless so it can't be my router...?)

Have you tried manually entering your SSID into the Touch?

What security are you using to secure your wireless network? If you are using WPA2, it might have a problem connecting. I did a search on Google and some people had issues connecting to a router using WPA2 until they updated the firmware on their router. Or, you can always downgrade your security to WPA and see if that works, but you will be losing a little security that way. Do a search on Google for "iPod Touch WPA2" and see what comes up.

Which app are you using to try and connect? I found the Settings one to be rather lacking. I use one called WiFinder that lists all networks that it can see. Try that one and see if at the very least your network is listed and what it says about it.
