Hi there, I'm think about buying one of those. I'm looking for a portable system that will allow me to watch my tv shows while i'm on the bus, listen some music (ipod touch is far more portable for that) and maybe play some games (PSP is better for that of course). If I go for a PSP, it's sure that i won't take it to listen some music while i'm walking to school every day; it's a little to big. But, i would use it when i take the bus on Fridays and Mondays to go to the college campus and return back home. So, the ipod touch would be more suited for every day music listening... but it's kind of more expensive (i would probably go for a 32GB = 299$) .. What do you think i sould do ?? Also, I have some questions: Is it easy to transfer and play tv shows + movies on a PSP (I usually rip my dvds and tv shows from TiVo in .avi) ?? Easier of harder than on an iPod Touch ? What kind of batterie is there on the PSP ?? How long can it play videos ? Which portable device have the best future according to you ?? Will there be a PSP-2 or will Sony continue to release different version of the same console (2000, 3000, Go, Slim... ) ? Thank you Very Much
new psp go.. $249.95....not sure how it stacks up, but smaller than regular psp. bluetooth and wifi, 16bg internal memory, new micro stick for it though, and no umd.
Touch is indeed a very nice piece of equipment, although I can't help but suggest if your going to buy something for purely gaming you might want PSP, but if your just going to do casual fun time taking gaming, then iPod touch is for you.
The iPod Touch is a great multimedia system, on the other-side the PSP has best of features and some pretty solid multimedia functionality. Thanks
The number of applications available for iPod touch make it stand tall in the list. No second thoughts. Go for ipod touch.
Buy iPod if you want to be restricted to what you can listen to, buy it so you can waste money on music from iTunes. Buy it so that it freezes on you / crashes randomly and there's no way to turn it off when it freezes, cause well the battery is internal and not removable. My point, buy a PSP or something you'd actually enjoy with a better battery life. And yes PSPs can play full movies, heck they even sell movies for PSP
