Hey ive just purchased a ipod from a friend because i lost my old one, but hes got about 4000 songs already on it, and im worried that if i plug it into my itunes i will loose all my music. So my question is how do i sync it to my current itunes so i dont loose all my music.
You can use one of the third party iPod apps to dump the 4000 songs from your iPod to your PC. EphPod is good: http://www.ephpod.com/ Then, if you want to use iTunes, just wipe the iPod, and put you 4000 songs back onto it via iTunes.
