IPL Question

Me and my friend had a debate on this question whether Kevin Pieterson will receive the full amount i.e. 7.5 crores for playing only 7-8 matches or he will get money for only the matches he play.


Which one's true?

 

He will be paid only for the no of matches he played, which is 6 or 7..

 

Yeah IPL players get money for those matches they play .

 

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's pro-rata. They wouldn't just throw money away for nothing.

 

That means yearly contract divided into number of matches played in each season! Great info i didn't knew it..

 

Yes u are paid for the matches u play..

I Think they are also paid if they are sitting in the 15 player squad and not playing

Another Quick Question- Is a player entitled to get the whole amount for one year or is it divided in the 3 years of contract?? Like Dhoni is entitled to get 6 crores...so is it for one year or is for 3 years as in 2 crores each year?

 

One Year Meaning One IPL Tournament (Which Offcourse takes place for about a month )
