iPhone Site - Fully Developed Joomla Website With Many Features

Clearing out one of my dedicated servers and moving all sites that I have no interest in doing anything with. For the most part the story on these sites are that I purchased them with the intention of monetizing them, but just never had the time to do so. I know very little about Joomla except that it is a featured packed content management system. I actually bought this site to learn how to use it, but like I said, never got around to it.

Site is being sold as-is. I won't be able to help you very much with how the site works. The only thing I know at this point is that it has an awesome admin backend and I did find where to enter your Adsense ID and it was extremely easy. The admin panel is like Wordpress on steroids. It is easy to get around but there is so much more you can do with this as compared to Wordpress. If you can fill out a text box, you can update your ID in seconds.

I also know that it uses plugins to manage most of the content and obviously there is already a lot on the site. All of the descriptions below were provided to me by the previous owner.

GetaniLife.us is a community website dedicated to the new apple iPhone and other apple products. It is custom built using JOOMLA cms and various add-ons.

It has the following features:

* Automated News content
Currently news are pulled from 3-4 blogs. You can setup an unlimited amount of news categories and import news from RSS feeds.

* Video bookmarking and uploading
Users can add (bookmark) videos from video sharing sites. Just copy a video link from a major video website like YouTube and paste it. The site will glean every information automatically. So the videos are not hosted locally, they're streamed from youtube, dailymotion and others. Users can basicly add 100 videos in 10 mins so it's very easy to generate video content. Also, an upload option is available.

* Forum
GetaniLife.us has a forum dedicated to apple products, thus creating more content you can have your adsense on and also help pull together the community. These features guarantees a fast website growth.

* Flash games
Users will keep coming back to your website to play these funny flash games, and the best part is that the games are hosted elsewhere, so they don't eat your bandwith.

The entire website is built in JOOMLA cms.

Site is 3 1/2 months old.

July - 224 uniqe visitors
Aug. - 1028 unique visitors
Sept. - 426 unique vistiors
Oct. - 430 unique visitors

There are some great iPhone related key phrases leading visitors into the site. I have not advertised this site at all. According to awstats, 95% of the traffic comes from direct address/bookmarks, which is quite impressive. I have just added Adsense to the site recently, so consider no revenue when bidding.
