iPhone 3G for Indians - VodaFone and AirTel

    Finally Indians are having iPhones 3G's for themselves ;)

    The dates are declared..

    Vodafone launches on 18th Aug 08
    AirTel Launches on 22nd Aug 08

    To Pre register Airtel iPhone visit: http://www.airtel.in/iphone3g/
    To Pre register Vodafone iPhone visit: http://www.vodafone.in/existingusers/iPhone/Pages/preregister-iPhone.aspx

    The rates haven't been declared yet, but it has been said that it will be around 13k-19k

    The 8gb one will be around 13k and 16gb one around 19k

    Are you looking ahead for this iPhone ?

    I guess the monthly plans along with the iPhone would be quiet high from both the providers... :(

    Well I will not go with iPhone. What's advantage of iPhone without 3G services in India? I still prefer Nokia's E series phones.:)
