Iphone 2.1 Update - Scam?

    Is this a scam? How can it do this: Significantly better battery life for most users

    And why do they word it in such a strange way?


    I look at the comments on here: http://www.theiphoneblog.com/2008/09/12/should-i-upgrade-to-iphone-21/

    No it's not a scam. You pay for the 2.0 update then 2.1 comes free. Even if the battery life isn't improved it's still worth it.

    the 2.1 update is def much better. I had to return my 3G 2 times before this came out.

    we've never had a problem with the 3g phone with 2.0, updated to 2.1 still with no problems
