    vBulletin is been used by many top sites.. IPB is good but when my big site was using IPB it used more resources than vB

    vbulletin, never worked with IPB so I cannot say if it's better. It is just my fav.

    IPB sucks. They suspend your license when you want a reply in less than 18 days.

    I think vBulletin is better. I haven't used IPB much so can't comment on that but most of the popular forums use vBulletin.
