    There are "IPB squads" working for free just for the pleasure to report warez.

    IPB goes and checks using something like http://your_domain/forum/index.php?ipscheck=1 or another combination for newer versions that returns the license key, a zero value and sometimes a message claiming the crack.

    In addition all the software files include an ID of the hackers group responsible of the "work", facts that IPB can also use to find your illegal forum.
