IPB Multi Host

    I was wondering how creating a IPB Free Forum Hosting business would work. IPB is like vBulletin. You have to pay for a Lisence to run a Forum. vBulletin doesn't allow Free Forum Hosting. Does IPB? Is there a different Lisence to purchase?

    Also what is the best IPB Multi Host script? I am looking for the best one. So a paid script is okay.

    There was a Mihalism script that was released long ago, along with another one, can't remember the name. You can't really obtain them from their sites anymore, only from 3rd parties.

    Also, Anything above IPB 1.3.1 you won't be able to use a multi-host, so I'm referring to above as of IPB < 1.3.1.

    Up to IPB 2.0.0, IPB was free to use, after that, you must have a license for EACH board you host. There has been only IPB 1.3 and IPB 1.3.1 Multi-Host that I have seen over the years.

    Is it still possible to use the free IPB and get it legally?

    Not possible to get it anymore. Only way to get it is Illegally, which I don't recommend you do.

    So are websites like Forumer who provide IPB Forums running their service illegally?

    Forumer uses the old version of IPB which was free.. IPB was free in the start after that they became paid

    Yeah I had used it earlier free dont remember ver. but somewhere 1.x.x
    But yeah it was nice one but in any case if they r paid then VBulletin will lead in that case
