Looking to buy an IP.Board license quite cheap since I primarily want to evaluate the software to see whether it fulfills my needs (I had a look at the 24h demo but it wasn't enough). Expiry date doesn't matter, but license must be active on the day of purchase. Please post or PM your offer and I'll get back to you if I find it attractive. Paying with PayPal only. Thanks!
Best offer I got so far is $80 (from another forum). I will keep this open until end of this month and go for the cheapest offer by then.
80 USD is too expensive. You get it new for 99 USD each, if you buy 2 at the same time. with 25+ only 49 USD each I would see a fair price (if no renewal is necessary) between 60-70 USD
Thanks for your input! The only drawback is that nobody seems to be willing to sell it for 60-70 USD, so I might need to go for the 80 USD offer.
This is a question on how desperatley you are lokking for a licence. The major problem is, that there is no transfer of licences possible with IPB. They do not support this officially. You ned to take the whole account. The problem is, that I do not know how the accounts at IPS are working. The quetsions is: If a user gives you access to his account for money, can he still reverse this i.e. 2 weeks later because he has the original receipt of the purchase? even if you change password, e-mail address etc. If IPS does not support selling used licences, it could be possible, that the yjust say: We do not care. Person #1 has a sales receipt of us, so we do what he wants to do, no mattre what person #2 is telling us. So this is tricky Regrding prices: Since the new volume offers of IPS, prices of IPB will come more and more down. Just wait a few weeks...
why don't you buy an original one ? then you are sure that only you have it and that it wasn't sold to more people.
Reason for not buying an original one (i.e. from Invision directly) is of course the price. I assume I will get everything transferred/registered to my name and account, meaning that no one else will be able to use the license. Isn't that the way it works?
