IP on a Public Wiki?

What are your thoughts on intellectual property on a public wiki site (running media wiki if that is important). I have an author wanting to remove all of his content and started removing the entire articles that he contributed to. I blocked his account in light that I see that as long as I leave the source citing at the bottom, he should not be allowed to pull all of his contributions down which includes other's edits.

    Thoughts?

Do you have any kind of terms of use with your wiki? As in, everything written on it is in the public domain (like wikipedia) or that all content written by the users is owned by the creator of the website (you)? If not it becomes difficult to say who owns what.
