dnsstuff.com second box middle column will at least get the name servrs and then you can look them up. Fourth box same column will get the city.
If you go to Start - Run, type in CMD and hit <ENTER> you wil get a command prompt. Now type in ping www.example.com and <ENTER> (replace www.example.com with the domain name you are trying to get the IP for) and you will get the IP address.
how about when you type in the ip it goes to the website? I have a vps but when I type in the ip it goes to page where Apache successfull installed.
whois hostname --> on linux, this will give you most of the info available, like where the domain was registered and the nameservers for the domain, assuming the nameservers aren't private, they'll belong to thier host....
