I have both an adsense and analytics account. Now, In my analytics acount there is an option to set up IP filters so my reports don't include my own visits. I also have linked my analytics data with my adsense account. Sooooo, why doesnt my IP filter (associated with my analytics account) also apply for the adsense account? A simpler question...why doesnt Google just give publishers the option to add IP filters to their adsense account. You then add your own IP to the filter list. Then your own visits to your site WONT be included in the impressions data nor would it matter if you clicked your own ads. Cant Google, with all their resources, figure something simple like that out and implement it?? Just a thought, Dave from TPCS
This has been suggested many, many times in the past - and i recall an interview with an Adsense person (i think it was on a Shoemoney podcast) that this was something that they were looking at - but so far nobody has seen it..
