.io domains

    Hi guys,
    What do you think about .io domains? Have any of you registered .io domains? I know that it's not a top domain but I like it .io - don't know why but it sounds good.

    Do any of you know a cheap registrar for .io domains? Till now the cheapest I found was about $90 a year.

    .io seems good. But the registration price is extremely high.
