    Take a look at this

    http://invoicemachine.com/home

The free option limits you to 3 invoices a month, which may not be enough if not there are several paid options.
It allows you to send invoices, keep track on time spend on individual projects, you can even include a paypal payment link, I find it very useful.

I have used Quickbooks for my invoicing activities. I have also done invoices using MS Word and Excel.

    Hi,

    You can check out from Invoicera.com, Freshbooks.com, BillingOffice.com, Zoho.com or Invoicemachine.com.

I have used Invoicera.com and freshbooks.com and recommend to choose from these two. ( I am no way related to any of these sites so do not take it as a personal promotion)..... :)

    Thanks & Regards,
    Faiz Khan

I've been using Freshbooks for 3 years now. It's fantastic. They also have an excellent API so you can integrate it with your systems.
