OK, so we've recently created a Google+ page. But the problem is that we don't see that many people signing up through the box with all of the social networking accounts we have. We aren't sure about what to do with the Google+ page, because the future of this social network isn't clear (SEO-wise and in general). But we definitely want more people to be on board (just in case, after all - Facebook isn't forever). All of the articles online are the same when it comes to "How to attract fans to Google+". We were thinking about creating a separate e-mail newsletter - sole purpose of which would be to invite people to our G+ page. But we aren't sure, if that's appropriate, given that our messages usually contain useful information for our users. We wanted to take the whole customer base and send each one of them the given newsletter: too much, huh? Too aggressive? And, btw, is there a way to invite people directly as a page to your circles (not as a person). I know that the usual functionality doesn't allow this, but maybe there is something I've missed And in general - if you have any sound advice on how to increase the number of G+ audience, using internal means (customer databases, fans on other social networks, etc) - I would love to hear it! Cheers!
First you should subscribe to the people or the business pages in your niche. Post something useful to that pages including your links. Ask them to follow you back. But never SPAM.
Do you currently already send out newsletters? Why not just add the G+ button to your signature? Or put a little blurb about your new G+ page?
Thanks a lot guys for your feedback...It made me realise that e-mail newsletter just for the sake of adding new people to circles might not be the best idea.... Thanks again
