I'v read about many members referring their friends to join this forum and there are members whose wife, husband, siblings or parents have joined too.

It those threads moderatos advise to keep a code of ethics avoiding interact one another in a way that mislead, deceive or abuse DP system so I have a question to ask since I would like to help a friend but I don't wanna be banned for a misunderstanding or breaking any rule, if there is any on this matter.

A friend of mine, who is in need, came to live with me tonight and I believe she could build a reputation here and offer her services eventually, but I don't know if this is allowed since she would be connecting from my home (with her laptop) and that means share the same IP.

So, is it fine if she signs up?

Of course we will abide by the rules if it's possible get her aboard, as members do getting someone close to them joining this forum.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts :)

Ah thanks, this is exactly the sort of code of ethics I read a while back.

Of course, we would not get involved in such questionable activities.

However I'm unsure about contacting a moderator or making publicly available the username that she would be using so all of them can be aware.

I remember some of them said due to many people share IPs this must not be a major problem, but I want to make sure that effectively will not be.

If you have concerns then let one of us know via private message. We'll make a note in your user profiles and we check them before banning anyone for a duplicate account.

Generally it's easy to tell when two people are actually different so don't be too concerned.
