    Hi

One of my clients has asked me to do some work on their FB page, I received an email stating --------invited you to be a manager on her Facebook Page: but when I click login to facebook it has the wrong email address, it's still my email address but I don't have a FB account registered under that email address.

I asked them to send me their main login details which they did but it won't let me login it says the password is wrong but it's not as the client has been logging in without any problem.

To add someone as a manager do you have to enter the email address that is registered with FB?

    Thanks

    Dee

I would have thought "yes" as that is the email that facebook recognises as your account and can then give you rights.

Never, ever, log into a system using someone else's information. It opens you up to a whole raft of problems/legal risks. Sit with them as they add you as an admin but never take their password!

Well I say client she is more a friend and I never like having peoples passwords but sometimes you have no choice, for example if you are creating a shopping cart and customising their PayPal payment pages you can't do that unless you have their login details. Whenever I have had anyones password I always ask them to change it immediately my work is complete.

You have to like the page before you can be added as an admin manager. And you are right, it is hard to customize those areas without their login. Like you said, just have them change it after you complete the work.
