I bought a forum that uses IPB 2.3.3 that is getting heavily spammed. I finally turned moderation for new post on on all of the forum areas, but that doesnt seem fair to site members.

I am almost postive all the spam is being done by bots, does anyone know if there is a captha mod for the new version of IPB?

You need to update to 2.3.6 mate, there is a fix to the problem, it has brand new captcha that has worked in keeping out the bots so far!

No need to use all the plugin coz its annoying to human poster.
You can just ban the IP of the spamming bot using.

already tried. it's using multiple ips from several different countries. I banned all access from the countries and now all bot access is coming from USA and Canada.

I would recommend using reCaptcha with IPB.
    Works flawlessly!
