If you link to a site through an invisible picture (either very small or the same background color) is that effective in passing pr? also, what about <noscript> links. I know these show up in yahoo's linkdomain function. Anybody have any experiences?
I'm not sure about the invisible image...but for <noscript> sure, I don't see why that wouldn't work. I use <noscript> for alt ads on adsense and such to still provide ads to those users without javascript and/or spiders.
I should think that google are aware of being devious with tiny images. I read this somewhere. Even different colours to hide is not a good option. Why not have a proper links page ?
Google says Quality guidelines - specific guidelines Avoid hidden text or hidden links Such links as you describe are hidden.
Well, in spite of the fact that you can be caught by Google, from my personal experience - it works. Well, to make the things clear - it workED before the Big Daddy (I haven't tried that after this update)
